Personal Training

A Personal Trainer guides you through one-on-one workouts that include cardiorespiratory and resistance training. Resistance training is a necessary component when trying to lose body fat while maintaining or increasing muscle. Our trainers will design, teach and monitor resistance-training exercises and programs which will result in the following benefits: increased muscle strength, decreased risk of injury,increased lean body mass, improved work capacity, increased self-efficacy, increased bone density, improved posture and increased metabolic rate.

Bay Club also offers an APEX T5 Nutrition Program that combines resistance exercise with a program of supplementation, cardiorespiratory training and meal plans that work to dramatically increase metabolism. See Apex Nutrition System for further information.



Meet Our Staff

Tim DeMado - National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. Specializes in strength and conditioning training. Former fitness manager at the Boston Sports Club. MasterŐs degree in Physical Education.

Steve Stinson - National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement Specialist. Focuses on performance enhancement training as well as weight management. Achieved and maintained a 140-pound weight Loss, and has more than a decade of experience in fitness and coaching. BachelorŐs degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education.

Karen McDine - National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer. Specializes in functional core strength and conditioning training. Coaches partner and small-group personal training sessions. Mentors senior fitness and special population clients.

Dan Tanguay - National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Specializes in athletic performance training and overall wellness coaching. Former collegiate football player with experience training Division I athletes. BachelorŐs degree in Applied Exercise Science.
