I have been a student of Pilates since 2007 and a lover of sports since I was young. After I had my son, I was looking not only for a low impact way to get my body back into shape but also the mind-body connection that comes from a thoughtful physical practice. The focus on form, precision and control was another main draw for me to Pilates. While it may feel “good” to be sore after a tough class, my goal is to help you gain core strength through functional exercises without causing you increased pain. In addition to teaching Pilates, I also run PortSports Social Club, where we offer adult sports leagues (Volleyball and Ultimate) in the Portland area.
