Meet Erin

Erin Collins- Group Fitness and Marketing Manager at Bay Club, Cardio Kickbox, and Yoga Instructor. Erin is an AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America) certified group exercise instructor and Yoga Alliance Certified. Erin has been an avid athlete and dancer (ballet, jazz, modern and salsa) since she was young and started practicing Yoga over ten years ago. She enjoys the mind, soul and breathe connection that yoga provides and loves motivating individuals to get healthy and balanced while having fun.

Meet Tunde

Tunde is the Pilates Instructor at The BayClub and also teaches PowerBallTM and PowerBootcamp. She is the co-owner and founder of the Pilates Center of Maine and Host Training Center for Power PilatesTM New York and is currently pursuing a Teacher Trainer Certification. She holds an Advanced Level 3 certification in the Authentic Pilates Method™ through Power Pilates™ and has been certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and American Council of Exercise for personal training and group fitness.

Meet Kim

Originally from Vermont, I’ve lived in the Portland area since 1985. I began teaching fitness in 1990; I was a competitive gymnast growing up. To fill the void where gymnastics once was, I fell head over heels for fitness classes. Later I became a group fitness instructor/director at 2 area health clubs, I’m co-owner & personal trainer with my husband Tim in our business Athlete’s Training Solutions recently opened Tumble Tikes – Children’s Fitness Center and run around after our almost 3 year old. I have years of experience with all levels of fitness, and also specialize in triathlons as a 2-time ironman finisher and competitive runner.

He is known in the yoga community as a skillful practitioner and a teacher’s teacher for his dynamic, non-dogmatic and playful teaching style.

Meet Bethany

Bethany has been a student of yoga since 2004 and completed her 200 hour teacher training certification with Jacqui Bonwell in 2011. She studies yoga regularly with many gifted teachers, including Ame Wren, Melora Gregory and Kimberly Dahlmann, aiming to blend the best of the Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Ashtanga yoga systems into a flow practice. Bethany works as a teacher to help students develop a sustainable practice that enables good posture, perspective, insight and well-being.

Julia is a licensed Zumba instructor and an AFAA (Aerobic and Fitness Association of America) certified primary group exercise instructor. She is an avid cross-trainer and enjoys biking, running, weight-lifting, swimming, and boot camp classes.

Meet Chaya

Chaya is a Certified Spinning Instructor and teaches indoor cycling at the Bay Club. Her classes emphasize leg strength development and aerobic endurance through climbing, cadence control and interval training. An athlete herself, Chaya has been a competitive triathlete, swimmer, runner and cyclist.
Outside the gym, Chaya is an accomplished goldsmith and owner of Chaya Studio Jewelry, specializing in earth-friendly custom and readymade jewelry. She is also an avid skier, hiker, yogini and traveler.
